Statement of Mayor William F. Walsh to the Subcommittee on Equal Opportunity in an Urban Society

Mayor Walsh calls upon the Republican party to endorse a platform that promises to increase aid to public education as well as to job training and placement programs. He also asks that the party exercise more moral leadership in furthering the cause of civil rights.
