Old Indiana State Capitol Draped in Mourning for Abraham Lincoln, April 1865

This reproduction of a historic photograph shows the old Indiana State Capitol draped in mourning for Abraham Lincoln, whose body lay in state here en route to Springfield, Illinois, April 1865. This building was razed in the 1880's to make way for the new capitol.
